Alfen regularly releases firmware updates that enhance performance and introduce new functionality. Check your charger’s firmware version to see what’s new and ensure your charger is up to date.
First you need to determine on which hardware platform your charging station operates. We have two:
Alfen Hardware Platform (AHP01 and AHP02)
This is our latest and new generation hardware for Alfen charging stations and it’s available for the following Alfen charging stations:
Twin5 / Twin V2G (AHP01)
Twin 5 Plus (AHP01)
Eve Single Plus (AHP02)
Eve Double Plus (AHP02)
The firmware file has the extension *.tfw
NG-Platform
The legacy hardware platform for the following Alfen charging stations:
Eve Single S-line (NG910)
Eve Single Pro-line (NG910)
Eve Double Pro-line (NG920)
Twin4XL (NG920)
