In general, converting a charging station to a different type or model, is not supported by Alfen.
What is NOT possible?
It is not possible to change a charger that is using a fixed cable to a charger that uses a socket, as this would require installing additional parts to charger.
If you wish to have a different charging station model, we advise you to order a new charging station.
What IS possible?
It is possible to purchase a different length of fixed cable (e.g. from 5m to 7.5m) and install it on an existing charging station.
On Eve Single S-Line and Eve Single Pro-Line it is possible to insert a charging cable in a charger model with a socket and semi-permanently lock the cable
You charger will need to have firmware version 7.4.0 or higher for this to work.
