The password recovery code is not available for Alfen. Once a charging station has been produced and leaves Alfen, the password recovery code is no longer available due to safety and privacy of the customer. We advise to be very careful and mindful with who has access to this code and where it is being stored. Anyone who has a recovery code can use it to reset a password set by the customer.
So, to summarize: the password recovery code is not retrievable in the webshop.
Once it’s lost, it’s lost and the only option that’s available is using the Secure Service Access code (SSA) when this is enabled for the charging station.
If SSA is not enabled then replacing the control board is the only (costly) next step.
Note SSA is only available for engineers that are deployed via Alfen as the code is only present during their visit.
