Step-by-step summarized instruction for "SPK EnergyMeter Eve Single Plus"
Open the front housing housing by removing the 6x Torx 20 screws
Unplug the Hybrid Connector from the Socket to the SB100
Press both ledges to unlock while pulling the connector up
Lift the “Subframe” after removing the 3x Torx 20 screws
Unplug the RS485 connector from the energy meter by pulling it upwards (no ledge)
Remove the power cables from the energy meter by opening the 8x Slotted Pozidriv 2 screws
Ensure you memorize or photograph the cable order (left to right: blue, grey, black, brown)
Release the energy meter from the DIN rail by pulling the click nose up with a flathead screwdriver
Notice that the energy meter is place upside down in the charger
Isolate the old (defective) “energy meter” and grab the replacement “energy meter”
Place the replacement “energy meter” in the charger on the DIN rail until the click nose is locked
Notice that the energy meter must be placed upside down in the charger
Plug the power cables back in the energy meter and fasten the 8x Slotted Pozidriv 2 screws (torque: 1.5Nm)
Ensure that the power cables are in the correct order (left to right: blue, grey, black, brown)
Place the RS485 connector back in the energy meter (poka yoke)
The RS485 connector should be placed in deep enough until the (black) connector is flush with the protrusion of the energy meter housing and can’t be seen sticking out
Place the “Subframe” back in the charger and fix with the 3x Torx 20 screws (torque: 1Nm)
Route the cable from the socket around the outside of the “Subframe” and plug the Hybrid Connector in the SB100
Ensure the connector is correctly placed, both ledges should be locked
Close the front housing and fix with the 6x Torx 20 screws (torque: 1Nm)
