There are three options for enabling the Protective Earth detection for an Alfen charging station:
Backoffice
ACE Service Installer
Eve Install
1. BACK OFFICE:
There are two options to turn on the detection using the Backoffice:
Option 1
Step 1: Open the chargers profile in the back office;
Step 2: Make sure the charger is not charging;
Step 3: Turn the StrictPEMeasurementEnabled to ‘True’ throughout the command section in the back office.
Option 2
Step 1: Open the chargers profile in the backoffice;
Step 2: Make sure the charger is not charging;
Step 3: Upload the FWI-file saying StrictPEMeasurement to true-B.FWI towards the charger, this can be done throughout the same way firmware normally is being updated. You can find this file attached to this article.
2. ACE SERVICE INSTALLER:
Step 1: Open the chargers profile in the ACE-service installer;
Step 2: Open the Upload firmware tab.
Step 3: Select the FWI-file saying StrictPEMeasurement to true-B.FWI and start the upload.
3. EVE INSTALL:
Step 1: Open the chargers profile in the Eve Install;
Step 2: Open the Upload firmware tab.
Step 3: Select the FWI-file saying StrictPEMeasurement to true-B.FWI and start the upload.
