The charger needs to be online in ICU Connect to be switched over.
Only chargers using our NG and AHP platform can be switched over from ICU Connect to Eve Control.
AHP-chargers must be on firmware version 2.1.x or higher.
NG-chargers must be on firmware version 6.6.2 or higher.
How to check the charger's firmware version in ICU Connect?
Note: Your existing chargers will continue to operate as normal while Alfen prepares the switch over from ICU Connect to Eve Control.
If you have a NG-charger with firmware version older than 6.6.2, you will need to 'step-up' the firmware in stages.
Which firmware update do you need?
Remote update:
Perform a firmware update using the ICU Connect Back Office.
Local update:
Perform a firmware update using the ACE Service Installer.
Note for locally updating NG-chargers using a firmware version older than 5.x:
ACE Service Installer versions 4.1.0, 4.2.0 and 4.3.0 can not be used on older firmware versions.
You can download ACE Service Installer 4.0.0 from this page.
