Firmware release 7.4.4 is a hotfix release. A hotfix release is aimed at solving one or more urgent issue(s) relating to the main release. A hotfix release could address a potential safety risk, an issue relating to primary functionality of charging stations, compliancy challenges and/or issues immediately blocking the production of charging stations. This document details the resolved in this hotfix release.
Change Details
Fixed an issue where cables remain stuck in the socket after the end of a charging session.
Fixed an issue where, in very specific scenarios in conjunction with the earlier described stuck cable issue, relays would fail to open and create a live voltage on the contactors in the cable plug after a disconnection request from the vehicle side on Eve Double Pro-line, Eve Double Pro-line DE, Twin 4XL and Eve Double PG.
Enabled the possibility to distinguish a RemoteStartTransaction initiated by either an ad-hoc payment or the app of an eMobility Service Provider (eMSP) on Eve Single Pro-line DE, Eve Double Pro-line DE and Eve Double PG. This determines whether ad-hoc pricing information will be included
Back-office communication changes
As part of the addition of the earlier described eMSP app authentication, PaymentCardIdTagPrefix is now available as a read/write configuration item.
Our Smart Charging Network (SCN) functionality is implemented as a shared library between our NG9xx platform and AHP platform to enable cross compatible SCNs.
Our previous NG9xx release and our latest AHP releases have implemented SCN version 1.4, where this release newly implements SCN version 1.5.
SCN versions are not backwards compatible. It is not possible to combine charging stations running this release together with charging stations running older NG9 firmware and/or current AHP firmware in a single Smart Charging Network. The ACE Service Installer will provide a warning if charging stations with different SCN library versions are used in one SCN. Please refer to the SCN compatibility matrix below to check compatible firmware versions.

With the release of NG9xx Firmware 7.0, there is no longer the option between "A and B firmware versions", as first introduced with version 4.14.0.
