AHP-Firmware version 2.6.0

Firmware release 2.6.0 of Alfen Hardware Platform (AHP) is a feature focused release that focusses on two major features:

• Support for Modbus TCP/IP EMS

• Support for Pcard+

As these features are mostly valuable for Eve Single Plus and Eve Double Plus products, it is not advised to update Twin 5 and Twin 5 Plus to this release.
  

Modbus TCP/IP EMS

Eve Single Plus, Eve Double Plus or a Smart Charging Network containing these charging stations can now be controlled by an Energy Management System (EMS) using Modbus TCP/IP, where the charging station(s) act as a slave and the EMS acts as a master. The implementation in terms of the Modbus registers is identical to the implementation on the NG9 platform used on the Eve Single S-line, Eve Single Pro-line or Eve Double Pro-line.

Please note that this implementation only supports the connection to one Energy Management System simultaneously.

Pcard+
Authorisation using Pcard+ (also known as Calypso) cards is now supported on Eve Single Plus and Eve Double Plus.
It can be enabled using configuration item enablepcardplus over OCPP.
When this configuration item is disabled and a Pcard+ pass is presented, the charging station will indicate an invalid card.

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where the voltage drop was outside of the required range for fixed cable variants of the Eve Single Plus DE and Eve Double Plus DE

• Fixed an issue where a terminated WebSocket connection would prevent the charging station to transmit messages to the back-office despite having an active back-office connection.

• Fixed an issue where the receival of P1 DSMR smart meter values was not initialized properly due to the auxiliary board being connected later. 

SCN cross platform compatibility

Our Smart Charging Network (SCN) functionality is implemented as a shared library between our NG9 platform and AHP platform to enable cross compatible SCNs. SCN versions are not backwards compatible; each charging station in the SCN needs to run firmware which contains the same SCN version. Charging stations running this release can only be combined in a single Smart Charging Network with Eve Single S-line, Eve Single Pro-line, Eve Double Pro-line and Twin 4 XL running NG9 firmware 7.3.0. The ACE Service Installer will provide a warning if charging stations with different SCN library versions are used in one SCN. Firmware update instructions

Please be aware that due to cybersecurity requirements, it is not possible to downgrade AHP firmware. 
Additionally, an expiration date applies to the firmware file of the final release. 
After the expiration date, the charging station will reject to update with this release and will require a newer release.
