Eve Connect users whose charger is on firmware versions 7.4.0, 7.4.2 and 7.4.4 are not able to update to future firmware versions using an Android device.
In the Eve Connect app, you will see a message informing you that new firmware is available, but it can't be installed from your Android device.
The issue is solved in firmware 7.4.5 and higher. Please find the latest version on our firmware page.
Workaround:
To be able to update, please use an iPhone device with the Eve Connect app or a Windows computer with ACE Service Installer to update to firmware version 7.4.5 or higher.
You can also request your backoffice-provider to install firmware version 7.4.5 or higher remotely.
After installing it using an alternative method, you will be again able to use your Android device to update firmware.
