In the box
The card with the password is included in the box and should be handed over to the customer once the installation is complete.
The password flyer holds the Default Password and the Password Recovery Code (PRC) as set during production.
This flyer is the only place were the PRC is registered.
There is no other way to retrieve the PRC when this flyer is lost.
In case the Default password was ever changed to a self-choosen Custom Password, this is not known to Alfen.
By using the PRC, the Default password can be restored in this situation.
In the Alfen Webshop
In case the card holding the password is lost, the Default password is available in the Alfen Webshop.
The webshop holds information on the Default password that was set on the charging during production.
This information is only accessible by for the registered Chargepoint Operator for the charger.
