Introduction
The default protocol (OCPP) does not support uploading images (.jpg .png etc.) directly to the charging station.
Therefor the update file has to be created with the ACE Service Installer first.
Creating the Image Update File via the ACE Service Installer
Here is a step-by-step instruction
- Open the ACE Service Installer
There is no need to connect to a charger - From the top-menu, select ‘File’, ‘Create Image Update file’
- a Pop-up screen opens
- Search and select the logo-file you want to display on the charger by clicking ‘…’
- Optionally adjust the Image margin (default = 8)
- Click the ‘Create Image Update File’ button
- Now you need to select the file type that can be used for your charger:
- .fwu must be used to create an update file for chargers on the NG-Platform (Eve Single Pro-Line, Eve Double Pro-Line)
- .tvf must be selected to create an update file for chargers on the AHP-Platform (Eve Single Plus, Eve Double Plus, Twin 5 Plus)
- After creation of the update file, you can upload the new firmware file through the firmware update mechanism, in your back office.

Restrictions:
• It should be a valid .png (we not only check the extension but also the contents). The extension should be '.png'
• Only characters a-z, A-Z and 0-9 are allowed and special characters '_' and ' ' (space). Other characters are not allowed.
• The file size should be < 5 MB
• The size of the image should be equal or smaller than 1920 x 1080
